Maternity Leave: September 2022 - March 2023

My family and I are thrilled to share that we are expecting our second baby in the early autumn of 2022! While the timing is not ideal for a photographer, infertility took the ability to perfectly plan things away from us a long time ago.

I will be on maternity leave from early September through the spring (with tentative plans to begin booking for sessions in April 2023).

With our daughter, I was back shooting 10-12 hour wedding days at 5 weeks postpartum but I was blessed with a fairly easy delivery and recovery. Our transfer this time around came with a hiccup or two and I needed a last minute surgery around the holidays to prepare. That was a reminder to just take time for myself and us without feeling guilty. This time I want to be more intentional about rest, healing, bonding and adjusting. 

The only sessions I'll be taking on during my leave are sessions for previously booked Grow With Me bundle clients only! If you have questions regarding if you qualify for this, please reach out!

I can just *feel* my usual fall family portrait clients having an internal panic right now and it's really the only reason we're announcing this pregnancy at all (I'm still team "surprise, I had a baby" - maybe one day).

I do still have some very limited weekday evening availability for July and August and listen, I am 100% TEAM SUMMER PHOTOS! Yes, we might sweat together but those luscious greens and beautiful blooms win me over every time.

I would love to see you before September and I really, really do not like sending replies saying that I’m fully booked and cannot accommodate your family but it happens! Please reach out as soon as possible to get on my calendar!
