Penn State University Classic Blue and White Engagement | Tara + Mike

Tara and Mike win couple of the year. These two drove from Pittsburg to State College to meet me last Thursday for their engagement session! There were some scheduling conflicts and I know Tara wasn't totally over-the-moon connected to and in love with our first portrait location so when it came up that I was going to be in State College to second shoot a wedding for Caity... Tara and Mike jumped on the opportunity to document their engagement in the place where they fell in love! 

They brought along Buddy... their eight-year-old one-eared Cocker Spaniel... and I LOVE HIM. Caity helped me out with this session because she is a perfect angel and we both were obsessing over Buddy the entire time. Buddy was definitely the star of the show but that is what happens when you bring your dog to your session with your dog mom photographer! Sorry, not sorry. He's precious. 

Tara and Mike (who almost everyone affectionately calls Mike P.) have an easy, fun, laid back romance. They've been through a lot together - just hearing her talk about their cross-country moves after college was inspiring! Now they're back in Pittsburgh and planning for a fabulous downtown February wedding!
