The Booking House Romantic Glam Winter Wedding | Andrea + Jody

I have been looking forward to this day since Andrea first reached out to me about shooting her wedding day! I have known Andrea since high school and she is honestly one of the coolest people I know. When I got to meet Jody, I knew their wedding was going to be the perfect representation of their combined coolness. No, I’m not struggling for words here. They’re just that awesome. From their down-to-earth but ready to party bridesmaids and groomsmen to Andrea’s badass leather jacket… this wedding was all kinds of YES.

They chose an amazing vendor team that I am so, so honored to be a part of. Every single aspect of their day was beautifully executed by a team so dedicated to giving A&J a dream wedding. It was also such a blessing to have two of my former brides in attendance as guests plus Andrea’s sister, Theresa, has been in two SSP wedding parties! For photographers, that’s what dreams are made of.

But the real MVPs of the day are the bride, groom and the wedding party because they braved frigid temperatures and freezing rain for some of their images.

I knew it was important to get Andrea and Jody outside into some winter natural light despite the overcast skies. I wanted their images to have diversity in their lighting and also… let’s face it… there’s nothing that can compete with gorgeous natural sunlight. They trusted me to take them outside for some portraits and their first look in the freezing rain and IT WAS WORTH EVERY SECOND.
