Holiday Mini Session Style Guide

This year's set is designed for matching (or coordinating) holiday jammies but please feel free to wear what makes you most comfortable! You can see some of my favorite places to find holiday pajamas for the whole family below. I've also added a few outfit ideas for anyone who isn't feeling the PJ vibe.

For these sessions, you absolutely do not have to “MATCH”. If you want to put kiddos in jammies and have adults wear loungewear or just casual holiday attire, that’s absolutely fine. If you want to mix and match holiday jammies, that’s fine too. If you’d rather skip jammies altogether, that’s ALSO fine! You’re welcome to go barefoot or wear fuzzy socks, slippers, shoes or whatever makes you feel the best.

Other Important Tips:

  • Don’t forget to groom! If you or a loved one included in your session has facial hair, be sure to clean up the edges, purposefully groom/trim it and make it look cared for! This goes for preventing bed-head and hat hair too!

  • Consider your undergarments carefully. Before your session, be sure to check all outfits with the undergarments you plan to wear.

  • Please do not wear graphic t-shirts or shirts with words or clothing with large visible logos (ex: a t-shirt that reads “Santa’s Favorite Elf” or a shirt with a large Nike logo). When it comes to shirts with words it’s so difficult to pose wiggly kids in ways that makes them happy but also makes the shirt readable.
