Hailey has been my neighbor (well, my mom's neighbor) since she was just a little girl. We think it has been around eleven years. She was a shy elementary schooler and came out of her shell a little when she would sit on our front porch with my brother and listen to music (with shared headphones).

She and her little brother, Zaiden, have been a fixture in my life for so long - they're basically extra siblings to me. They will be the guestbook attendants at our wedding in a few weeks. Hailey is pretty much no-fuss. She wanted a quiet spot to do her senior portraits with few onlookers so we chose a museum property down by the Susquehanna River. It was quiet - except for the mayflies. On a very humid night a few weeks ago we got together to commemorate the fact that she is going to be starting her senior year of high school soon! I can hardly believe it. Really, I'm having a hard time grasping the fact that she's old.
