A Pastel, Summer, Bel Air, Maryland Wedding | Shannon + Marcel

SHANNON AND MARCEL ARE FINAAAAAALLLYYY MARRIED! These two are the last of my 2020 rescheduled weddings and they’ve weathered this ongoing pandemic together so beautifully. I’m so happy that they got to enjoy their long awaited wedding day without a drop of the forecasted rain too.

Shannon and Marcel met at a friend’s wedding ten years ago and Shannon moved to Germany to be with Marcel five years ago. They shared a legal wedding in Germany with Marcel’s family and their German friends a few weeks ago and then came to the states to celebrate with Shannon’s family and unite in a church ceremony.

With the help from family and friends, the design of their gorgeous, pastel day was just so delicate and vibrant. I loved how they incorporated the details of their transatlantic union as a play off of Marcel’s last name - Transier. Finally meeting them in person after YEARS of correspondence was delightful and it was an honor to capture their wedding day.
