Chateau Bu-De Waterfront Micro Wedding | Lisa + Jonathan

I didn’t talk to Lisa and Jonathan for the first time until about 3 weeks away from their wedding date so I was really hoping we would connect on a deeper level and I’d be able to serve them wholly for this really special occasion! 2020 weddings have been so different in many ways and going into a wedding day with the bride and groom being virtually strangers to me is just one of them. Let’s just say, when I pulled into the parking lot, they were unfamiliar faces and we started out with basic pleasantries but when I left, I felt like I had been let in on a part of a really special couple’s lives! I smiled the whole way home!

Lisa and Jonathan are so low key and so kind! They made the day so much fun for me and I remembered how much I have missed serving couples this year!

They were introduced by a mutual friend from church, despite both of their reluctance. They talked late into the night on the phone before actually meeting in person but when they did, they knew immediately that they were meant to be together! Blending two families with young children is not easy. But it was a pleasure to witness and capture Lisa’s sons and Jonathan’s daughters playing such a big role in this small-but-beautiful celebration.

Enjoy some of my favorites from Lisa and Jonathan’s micro wedding along the water at Chateau Bu-De!
