Chimney Rock Farm Coral and Navy Wedding | Christa + Ian

This wedding was one-of-a-kind... the sort of celebration that is crafted by fate. Christa and Ian met online but strangely and uniquely, I know them both from two different parts of my life. Christa and I went to high school together and I know Ian from our time at Penn State and his battle with cancer. Yep, cancer.

At 22 months old, Ian was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of childhood cancer. In 2011, Ian and I both stood on our feet, awake for 46 hours to raise money for childhood cancer awareness and research through Penn State THON along with 700+ other students and supported by more than 15,000 student volunteers. At the time of his diagnosis, Ian was given just a 15% chance at a normal life. But you know what is totally normal and such a blessing?! GETTING MARRIED!

On Saturday, he and Christa shared their marriage vows and promised each other forever. Christa is a radiant, kind and thoughtful woman (Ian, you're a lucky guy!). She wore a stunning gown with a peach toned underlay and gorgeous lace detailing. They were so excited to be married that they literally RAN back down the aisle at the end of their ceremony. RAN. Like 100 mph at me while cheering and beaming. It was so fun!

Ian and Christa are a perfect match and I am just so excited for these two. They deserve the world. I wish them all the blessings that life has to offer as they take on many new adventures together. Enjoy some of my favorite shots from their wedding day!
