WoodsEdge Farm Pink and Gold Wedding | Shelbey + Colin

Are ya here for the llama puns? Because I’m going to try to keep them to a minimum but I’ve got a whole llama love for this couple! When they asked me to photograph their WoodsEdge Farm wedding I immediately told them ‘alpaca my bags’! Ok, ok. But seriously. Saturday was such a dream!

This sweet couple is so precious. When I met them in person for their engagement session, I was so taken aback by their graciousness. They’re just two of the nicest people you could ever meet. It was such a joy to capture their memories!

Shelbey and Colin’s relationship has been awaiting this special day for many years. They shared vows at her church in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania and the service was emotional and very meaningful. Her late father’s presence was definitely felt by her entire family and all of their loving guests. She carried his pilot wings on her bouquet with a sash that featured his monogram (and her maiden one). I was so moved when Father Murphy shared their letters to him about their marriage. Shelbey said she aimed to spend the rest of her life with someone who loved her like her father loved her mother. She found that and so much more in Colin.

Then there were the bridesmaids and groomsmen - they were fun and helpful! Could it get any better?

Following the ceremony we hopped on the road to celebrate at a GORGEOUS working alpaca, llama and yak farm… WoodsEdge Farm! That sunset light was to die for! BUT. IT GETS BETTER. I’m not even kidding. After an incredibly delicious dinner, their dance floor was one of the most crowded spaces that I’ve ever seen at a wedding. EVERYONE WAS DANCING. Of course, that’s in huge part to the fantastic Slippery Band who brought down the house. When they broke out the brass instruments, the guests were ready to party late into the night.
