Colorful, Intimate Backyard Summer Wedding | Melissa + Grant

I am so excited to share Melissa and Grant's wedding with all of you. I was so awestruck by how many meaningful little moments were packed into this one wedding day.

Melissa and Grant are both studying statistics at Baylor University where they met - while also working as graduate teachers. Yes, they are crazy smart and crazy busy! Right now they're living in beautiful Waco but have plans to move to Pennsylvania around this time next year. It was in Pennsylvania, on the property where Grant grew up, where they shared their vows.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Innerst shared the start of their forever with a small group of their closest friends and family. I truly felt honored to be there among these important people in their lives. They chose to have their wedding at Grant's family's property where his grandparents lived their entire lives. The spot where they held their ceremony used to be where a small home sat - where Rosemary and Randy (Grant's parents) brought their only baby boy home to after he was born! You could tell that it was really special for his parents to be able to host their son's wedding day.

Melissa and Grant's colorful style came out in her details and I had so much fun turning every corner and seeing more bright, fun pops of color. But truly what is special and stands out to me about their day is how much time they got to spend together. Having a really intimate wedding allowed them to spend most of their reception together - which is so important. Let me say, it doesn't always happen!
