Our Wedding: Almost A Year Later
Yes, it's been almost a year and I have not, until right now, blogged our entire wedding. That's what happens when you shoot other people's weddings for a living. Yours goes by and you're on to the next one... then you wake up and realize... in just a month you are celebrating one year of marriage!
I've blogged a little bit about our wedding already including why we got married before our wedding, our music, the FAQ's and walking myself down the aisle but I have never shared the entire day with ya'll here!
A lot has changed. Since we promised forever, exchanged some bling and got drunk with our friends, a lot has happened. Kyle's grandfather, Sheldon, and my uncle Larry are no longer with us (they appear in a bunch of photos below). What a blessing it was to have them with us on our special day. I don't take that for granted. Many of our friends are having babies (some with each other - you know who you are), some have moved and some have also experienced loss. Looking back through these images as I pulled them together for this blog post just made me think of how quick and precious life is. We are so lucky to be able to have two anniversaries and two chances to celebrate!
We had anniversary photos taken by my sweet friend, Caity, last week and I'll be sharing those for our wedding anniversary. For our marriage anniversary (if you're still confused... read this...), I'm so excited to share the images from throughout our wedding day with all of you.

So, do we celebrate both anniversaries? Absolutely. We exchanged gifts, had anniversary portraits taken by Cait Kramer Photography and in late August we're taking a short trip. In case you were wondering... I got Kyle a brick on the pathway of the SPCA in honor of Butters and he is taking me out to the restaurant where we shared an improptu meal after going to the courthouse last year.
