Historic Shady Lane Pink and Gold Wedding | Katlyn + Brad

I struggle to find the words to adequately describe the magic of Katlyn and Brad's wedding day! THEY ARE MR. AND MRS.! It was amazing to watch these two officially promise forever and celebrate with their families and friends.

The vendor team for this wedding was amazing! Melody of Blush Beautiful and my sweet friend, Sam, created total bridal party goals when it came to hair and makeup. The girls looked amazing! From the most beautiful cake I've ever seen (Rachel, you always knock it out of the park) to the stunning work of rosemary & rust... I was in photographer heaven. I always love working at Historic Shady Lane but this may have been one of my favorite tent set ups there to date! DJ Scott kept everyone dancing all night and Artistic Foods Catering provided an amazingly delicious meal. Basically, everything was PERFECT.

The day was emotional and so beautiful. The rain held out for most of the day, thankfully, and by the evening, there was a warm summer glow on the trees. Katlyn's mom and sister gifted her with a beautiful bracelet containing the handwriting of her dad in heaven. Then during the ceremony, her niece beautifully sang Holes in the Floor of Heaven while Katlyn and her sister, Jill, released butterflies for their dad. Yep, I cried a lot. I think we all did.

This was one of the most detail oriented and heartfelt weddings that I've ever had the privilege to capture. Katlyn, you did an incredible job of making your wedding day everything you dreamed of. They're married now! Enjoy some of my favorites from the the Schaffer's stunning June wedding!
